Blockchained India Goes to Switzerland to Learn about Progressive Crypto Policies

Blockchained India, the country’s foremost open blockchain community, is exploring the crypto and blockchain ecosystem of Switzerland. Akshay Aggarwal, co-founder of Blockchained India, is currently in Switzerland as part of an invitation of a study tour across Switzerland. The tour was led by Swissnex India in partnerships with Presence Swiss (Swiss Dept. of Foreign Affairs).

Switzerland is counted among the most progressive crypto regimes in the world. Akshay is meeting Swiss-based enterprises, startups, developers, investors, enthusiasts and policymakers during his visit. Akshay is seeking inspiration from the blockchain-friendly countries to enhance the upcoming regulation draft which will be submitted to the Indian government during the upcoming India Dapp Fest (IDF) 2019.

The IDF is a first-of-its-kind initiative in India which will bring developers, regulators and crypto enthusiasts from India and across the globe under one roof from June 11-15 in Bengaluru. IDF has already built momentum with the Blockchained India Roadshows and the event will put the spotlight on the Indian blockchain and cryptocurrency ecosystem.

While countries like Switzerland, Australia, Malta are embracing the blockchain and crypto ecosystem, India has been quite reluctant to formulate specific regulations around cryptocurrencies. However, it is good to see blockchain enthusiasts and independent communities such as Blockchained India keeping the crypto flag flying high in the country.

From hackathons to policy discussions to dapps, IDF will have something for everyone. Use the code Cryptodost@idf for exclusive discounts on event tickets. You can get your tickets here.

We hope to see you there!
